Here is what Stacey Khuu said about her experience going to NYC Fashion Week after attending a Tearsheet workshop. Her and Tearsheet artist Timka Tremouille both flew in and work backstage at some of the most sought after designer such as Betsey Johnson. Here is what she said:

Exhilarating, Mesmerizing, Fantastical, !!! That’s how I would describe my first
New York Fashion Week experience and I did it with my dear friend and fellow Tearsheet artist Timka Tremouille. Thanks to Tearsheet Academy, I was given the opportunity to
work and be guided by and with the best this industry has. Giovanni Giuntoli made
sure that our visit to New York was filled with unforgettable memories and
experiences we can take home to our clients. It was so interesting
to witness and be part of the creation of how each show was put together and not one the same. I met incredible fashion designers from Christine Alcalay, Juan Carlos Obando
and the one and only Betsey Johnson. I don’t think many hairstylists
with my few years of experience can say they were invited to work New York
Fashion Week and have worked big name shows. For Christine Alcalay’s
show, Philip Barwick lead the hair team to create an edgy twisted updo.
It was a work of art to see the presentation come together. The Betsey
Johnson show is where Timka and I were working close with Rodney
Cutler and his team. We helped put on those fabulous pink wigs and made
sure they were extra fluffy. Not only did we assisted in hair, but where ever
the help was needed we were prepared and willing to help.

Thanks to Tearsheet and their workshop I attended, Timka and I can say
this is only the beginning to our new adventures.
